Through his numerous achievements during his tenure, Sarah is convinced that he is the best president. Sarah thinks supporting his good policy makes America stronger and more stable. Sarah Liew stands with President Trump and support his initiatives and makes that quite clear in her speeches.
The economy is doing great thanks to the president’s economic plan to lower individual and corporate taxes, cut regulations, and end trade deficits. Sarah likes President Trump's “plans on lowering taxes by seven points for the middle class and lowering business taxes down to 15% (WH.gov). “The stock market has been rallying like never before for over 20 days now because Trump got in office” (WH.gov). “He’s convinced companies like Ford, Chrysler, and Carrier Air Conditioners to manufacture and build plants over here” (WH.gov). More Americans now are employed and millions of jobs were created, including manufacturing jobs (WH.gov). Women’s, as well as youth unemployment, reached the lowest rate in decades (WH.gov). Signed the biggest package of tax cuts and reforms in history. After-tax cuts, over $300 billion poured back into the U.S. in the first quarter alone (WH.gov). As a result of our tax bill, small businesses will have the lowest top marginal tax rate in more than 80 years (WH.gov). He met with Tech giants like Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook and Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos along with many others all at once to discuss the future with them (WH.gov).
She thinks that the president’s education plan to increase federal charter school grants to support education is a great idea.
She will support his efforts to slash government bureaucracy, increase accountability, and vote to pass the REINS Act.
As a legal immigrant to this country, she is appalled that anyone would oppose the wall or think that it is ok to have a sanctuary city. She thinks that the policy of reducing illegal immigration and reforming the legal immigration system is exactly what this country needs. Sarah agreed with President Trump “starting the wall along our border in March and appropriated funds for it (WH.gov).
She agrees that we should undo Obamacare, cut drug prices, and reform Medicaid. We need to replace the Affordable Care Act. We should require immigrant-visa applicants to prove they can obtain health insurance within 30 days of entering the U.S. or cover their own health costs. “Last month, the FDA approved more affordable generic drugs than ever before in history. And thanks to our efforts, many drug companies are freezing or reversing planned price increases” (WH.gov). “We reformed the Medicare program to stop hospitals from overcharging low-income seniors on their drugs—saving seniors hundreds of millions of dollars this year alone” (WH.gov). “He’s putting together a health care law that will be fair to everyone including buying across state lines and health care savings accounts among other factors that will be cost-effective for everyone” (WH.gov).
The U.S.-China trade war that exposed roughly 11 million U.S. workers to tariffs, after they rose from 10%-25%. The administration did a great thing for the farmers when it dedicated $8.52 billion to offset the impact. Sarah agreed when “President Trump canceled TPP (Trans-Pacific Partnership) that would have caused more jobs to go overseas” (WH.gov). “Imposed tariffs on China in response to China’s forced technology transfer, intellectual property theft, and chronically abusive trade practices” (WH.gov). “Net exports are on track to increase by $59 billion this year” (WH.gov).
She will co-sponsor and support efforts for roll call votes on the Audit the Fed bill, designed to bring transparency to the Federal Reserve.
She agrees that the so-called “U.S.A. Freedom Act," once known as the "Patriot Act,” is a blatant violation of the Constitution, especially the Fourth Amendment. Also, as in the case of RICO laws, its provisions are often used for things other than its original intent. In fact, a recent study of "sneak and peak" warrants found that less than 1% were used for terrorism, while 92% were used for drug-related investigations. The Constitution upholds "innocent until proven guilty," not "if you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear."
Sarah had a personal family connection which is why she decided to support the U.S. president. He dedicated himself to working for peace in the Korean Peninsula in order to prevent similar atrocities from what happened to her family who lost a great man, her grandfather, because of the Korean War. She wants to support him to avoid seeing next-generation experience the same pain. Trump is the first sitting U.S. president to enter North Korea. Sarah supports the U.S. president who dedicated himself to working for peace in the Korean Peninsula. She supports the Presidential War Powers. She will oppose using military action without a congressional declaration of war. She trusts the president and his administration to act on information without needing to send it to the leakers who will give terrorists advance notice.
She will oppose all infringements on law-abiding citizens' Second Amendment rights. Veterans “He’s appropriated funds and signed into law funds to build up our military and take care of our vets”(WH.gov).
The opposition of Pres. Donald Trump by Ted Lieu (Democratic Party)
Ted, He delivered a passionate argument for impeaching President Trump. He said, “No one in America could do what Donald Trump did and get away with it,” Lieu said on Capitol Hill hours before a scheduled House impeachment vote. “No American elected official can call up a foreign government and ask for an investigation of a political opponent. No member of Congress can call up a foreign official and ask for help in a reelection campaign. If we did that, we would likely get indicted.”
He was accusing that “Trump was found to have asked Ukraine’s president to investigate Trump’s political rival and former Vice President Joe Biden, a candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination. The U.S. government withheld military aid from Ukraine until Trump’s conversation became public; leading many to believe the president was conditioning the aid on having his demands met.
“I never thought I’d see the day when a president was telling immigrants to go back to where we came from. Donald Trump is demonstrating he’s a racist ass. He’s not uniting us. I can’t wait until he leaves the office of the presidency,” Lieu said.
While he did not name them directly, it is widely believed Trump's tweets referred to Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.), and Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.). All four of the freshman congresswoman are U.S. citizens, and only Omar, who came to the U.S. as a refugee from Somalia, was born outside the U.S.
"So interesting to see ‘Progressive Democrat Congresswomen’, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful nation on earth, how our government is to be run," Trump tweeted Sunday.
Lieu called Trump’s attacks, which were widely condemned among Democratic lawmakers, “a new low for him.” “I think Americans are going to react very badly against the president,” the lawmaker predicted. When asked why thinks Trump decided to take shots at the congresswoman, Lieu said the president is becoming increasingly “unhinged” as he is continuously unable to push forward with his policies and campaign promises.
“He has not been able to build his wall, has not been able to make the border situation any better and now he’s trying to do other things to amp up his base,” Lieu said.
Lieu’s remarks Sunday closely echoed a tweet he sent out earlier in response to Trump. "What makes America exceptional is that we are a nation of immigrants. As an immigrant who served on active duty, I am appalled you are telling us to 'go back,' ” he wrote. “I’m not going back. America is our home. And I will still be in Congress after your racist ass leaves.”
Ted continues to propagate lies about the President and has voted for no reason to impeachment Donald Trump. Ted Lieu hates Trump more than he hates terrorists who kill Americans. There is no evidence for this impeachment other than the democrats planned on impeaching President Trump from the day he was elected. Sarah feels that this is a political game planned by democrats leaders, and at this point, our republicans need more support and for our president Donald Trump to be reelected!
I hope that I get the chance to work for you and continue the legacy of Making America Great Again!
